Great Lakes Christian College Athletics Adds Cross Country Fall 2025

Lansing, Michigan – Great Lakes Christian College Athletics is proud to announce the addition of men’s and women’s cross-country to its lineup of successful programs. Both new programs will begin competing in fall 2025.

Great Lakes cross country programs will compete at the NCCAA Division II level in both Men and Women's Cross Country.

 “We are very excited about expanding our department to include this popular sport,” said Sam Sibilski, Director of Athletics. “We are constantly looking for ways in which we can improve and grow. Our Athletic programs are thriving making it a perfect time to introduce Cross Country to the GLCC campus. We can’t wait to get started!”

"Bringing Cross Country to the GLCC Athletic Department provides numerous participation opportunities for many student-athletes. We know there is great potential for growth within Cross Country at an individual and team level," Said Vice President of Enrollment Management Greg Stauffer
