WATERTOWN, Wisc. - Great Lakes Christian College women's volleyball lost two matches in straight sets this weekend, losing on the road to Maranatha Baptist in a Saturday doubleheader.
Great Lakes averaged just under 12 points per set over the two matches, all of which were won by Maranatha by double-digit margins (25-7, 25-15, 25-12 and 25-12, 25-15, 25-10).
Jordyn Richardson led the team in kills with four in the two games, Alissa Nugent picked up three assists and Jillian Wilson contributed five service aces and 11 digs.
GLCC struggled on offense, achieving a kill percentage of -.109 to Marantha's .200, although they did reduce their receiving errors from 34 in the first match to nine in the second.
Great Lakes faces a busy weekend, taking on Dayspring in a home doubleheader on Friday and both Dayspring and Grace Christian in a home tri-match on Saturday.
