ST. LOUIS - Great Lakes Christian College women's soccer took a thumping from NAIA Harris-Stowe on Friday, 6-0.
Malou Hagedorn opened up the scoring for HSSU in the second minute and the hosts never looked back, building a 3-0 lead at halftime
The second half was much of the same, as Harris-Stowe scored three goals in 18 minutes to push the final margin to 6-0.
HSSU took 38 shots and put 18 of them on target. GLCC could only create one chance, which missed the goal. Rachel Wienclaw and Katarzyna Polek teamed up for 12 saves while Lisa Pietz and Chloe Tyburczy combined for Harris-Stowe's clean sheet.
Great Lakes' road trip will continue on Sunday against the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis.
