WBB Falls in close game with OCU

LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College Women's Basketball team took on Ohio Christian at home Thursday night looking to rebound from the home opener loss. The Crusaders responded in a great way competing hard against OCU. At the half the Trailblazers had a lead 48-40. In the second half the Trailblazers built their lead to 15. The Crusaders would mount a comeback in the fourth quarter cutting the deficit to just 8 but could not get any closer than that. Mystic Striker led the Crusaders with 21 points and 15 rebounds while Freshman Shaddia Greer had her best game of her young career with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

• GLCC shot 43 percent from the floor compared to OCU 38 percent
• Crusaders put 4 ladies in double figures
• Ohio Christian's Rachel Bolyard led all scorers with 31 points
