LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball will keep looking for answers after an 81-30 loss to Muskegon Community College on Tuesday night.
Great Lakes' offense struggled early and they fell behind 16-7 after one quarter. The team went the first seven minutes of the second quarter without a field goal as MCC extended its lead to 38-15.
Muskegon locked GLCC's offense out in the third, giving up only three points as they increased their lead even more, cruising to a road win.
Mystic Striker led Great Lakes with a double-double: 13 points, 11 rebounds. GLCC shot only 12/59 (20.3%) from the floor as a team and 6/15 (40%) from the free throw line.
Mariah Pringle led Muskegon with 16 points, Julia Tierman scored 15 and Ally Seiber grabbed 12 boards to go with eight points.
Great Lakes will take on Concordia (Michigan) on Wednesday night.
