OLIVET, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball had a tough time scoring points in Wednesday's loss to Olivet College, getting doubled up by their hosts, 58-29.
Neither team's offense got going in the first as Olivet led 10-7 after one, but Great Lakes never scored in double-digits in any quarter, watching Olivet increase its lead in ever period on its way to a win.
Great Lakes shot a season-low 12/69 (17.4%) from the floor and missed all 22 of their three-point attempts. Mystic Striker led GLCC with 12 points off the bench.
Olivet out-rebounded Great Lakes 56-36. Zoee Zatarga led all scorers with 18 and Rachel Swartz added 16.
GLCC returns to the court on Saturday against Finlandia on the road.
