Great Lakes Christian stunned No. 1-ranked Alice Lloyd with a 2–1 victory on Friday afternoon in Lansing. The Crusaders opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Beta Malakoyo finishing an acrobatic overhead kick from a pass from Jacob Okpoti. The Eagles quickly equalized off a corner kick through Payton Tharp. In the second half, Happy Agaba netted the game-winner off an assist from Enny Joseph, securing the upset. Goalkeeper Makhdi Dadayev recorded five saves as GLCC took down the top-ranked team in a statement win to close out October.
