Five Men's Soccer players named to All-Region second team
LANSING, Mich. - Five Great Lakes Christian College men's soccer players were named to the NCCAA DII Mideast All-Region second team.
Gavin Ewalt, Kenan Kennedy, Leonce Ndayisaba, Gavin Talley and Jaden Talley were all awarded spots on the team.
Ewalt led a Great Lakes defense which allowed 2.45 goals per game in his 12 starts to earn his second All-Region honor after being first-team a year ago.
Kennedy started every game for GLCC and led the team with 13 goals in his first year, including four match winners.
Ndayisaba also started each game for Great Lakes, scoring four goals and tallying four assists.
Gavin Talley scored eight goals for Great Lakes, forming a forminable striker pairing with Kennedy that averaged 1.75 goals per game.
Jaden Talley conceded 2.71 goals per game in goal for Great Lakes, picking up four clean sheets and making 46 saves (.648%).
Great Lakes concluded its season with a 7-4-1 record, including 3-1-1 in region.
