Player Of The Week - Devin Watts

LANSING, Mich. - This week's Great Lakes Christian College Player of the Week is men's basketball's Devin Watts, who led the GLCC offense as they split a pair of games.

Watts led Great Lakes in scoring on January 31 as they toppled NCCAA DII foe Moody Bible 106-77. His 24 points on effective 10/13 shooting, despite only logging 20 minutes, was a catalyst for the team in an important road win.

Sunday was a different story for GLCC as they lost to NCCAA DI Alice Lloyd 91-76. Despite the loss, Watts tallied 15 points, good for second on the team, along with six rebounds and three steals.

Watts' ability as an outside shooter has been an important part of the GLCC offense all season, as he leads the team in three-pointers made (37) and three-point field goal percentage (38.5%). He also ranks second on the team in steals (25), adding a defensive element to his game.

Great Lakes will take on Maranatha Baptist in a regional clash on the road on Tuesday.
