Men's Basketball Beat #5 NAIA UNOH In Season Opener
The Great Lakes Christian College Crusaders tipped off their 2025–26 campaign with a statement 74–70 road victory over #5-ranked NAIA oponnent University of Northwestern Ohio. After trailing 40–34 at halftime, the Crusaders locked in defensively and outscored the Racers 40–30 in the second half to complete the upset. Devin Watts led the way with 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Savonn Campbell added 16 points and 8 rebounds. LaTa’Vius Vaughter recorded a strong 13-point, 10-rebound double-double, and Shawn Goodman chipped in 9 points off the bench. The Crusaders dominated the rebounds 49–42 their strong defense, earning a signature win to start the season.
