Men's Basketball Gets Big Win Over Olivet Nazarene
The Great Lakes Christian College Crusaders pulled off a 77–63 road victory over NAIA opponents Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday at McHie Arena. Leading 40–32 at halftime, the Crusaders maintained their momentum in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 37–31 to secure the win. Devin Watts led all scorers with 19 points, while Teon Armstrong and Savonn Campbell each added 16 points, and Shawn Goodman contributed 14 points, including four three-pointers. Great Lakes Christian shot 48% from the field and 84% from the free-throw line, while outrebounding Olivet Nazarene 36–32. The road win over a another NAIA opponent marks another statement victory early in the Crusaders’ season.
