Men's Basketball Pick Up Conference Win Against Maranatha
Men's Basketball put together a strong offensive performance Tuesday night, defeating Maranatha Baptist 91-64 in Watertown. The Crusaders set the tone early with 40 first-half points and pulled away even further after the break, shooting 44.9 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from three-point range. Adam Williams led a balanced attack with 16 points and five steals, while LaTa’Vius Vaughter added 14 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Dame Cochran chipped in 12 points and five steals, helping GLCC force 23 Maranatha turnovers that fueled transition opportunities. The Crusaders also received a spark off the bench from DeMarkco Coakley, who knocked down three triples on his way to 11 points. With scoring contributions across the roster and active defensive pressure, Great Lakes Christian earned a convincing road victory.
