Men's Basketball Fall To Calumet College St. Joseph
Men's Basketball fell in a hard-fought 69–66 loss to Calumet College on January 12 at the Rittenmeyer Center. The Crusaders trailed 38–28 at halftime but responded with a strong second half, outscoring Calumet 38–31 to make it a one-possession game down the stretch. Teon Armstrong led GLCC with 15 points, five rebounds, and three steals, while Savonn Campbell and LaTa’Vius Vaughter each added 11 points. Vaughter also made a major impact defensively with four blocks and three steals. Great Lakes Christian shot 40.7 percent from the field and forced 15 turnovers, keeping pressure on Calumet throughout the contest. Despite the late comeback effort, Calumet’s advantage at the free-throw line proved decisive as the Crusaders dropped a close road matchup.
