Men's Basketball Bested At Home By Alice Lloyd

Men's Basketball battled hard but fell 91–76 to Alice Lloyd on Saturday afternoon at the Doty Center. GLCC held a slim 43–41 halftime lead behind strong interior play and active defense, but Alice Lloyd caught fire in the second half to pull away. Shawn Goodman led the Crusaders with an impressive 21 points and 11 rebounds, while LaTa’Vius Vaughter added a double-double of his own with 13 points and 10 boards. Devin Watts chipped in 15 points and three steals, providing energy on both ends of the floor. The Crusaders struggled from three-point range in the second half, shooting just 29.2% from deep, which allowed Alice Lloyd to extend the margin. Despite the loss, Men's Basketball showed resilience and flashes of strong team play as they continue their season.
