Men’s Basketball Makes History with Record NAIA Wins

The Great Lakes Christian College Men’s Basketball team is off to a historic start this season, setting a new program record with five victories over NAIA opponents—the most ever achieved in a single season. This achievment comes only eight games into the 2025-26 season, besting last years record of 4 wins versus NAIA opponents inside the first third of the season.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Elijah Kess, now in his third year at the helm, the Crusaders continue to raise the bar through dedication, discipline, and a culture of excellence. With the strength of the team and coaching staff in mind, it is very possible that more records are set to fall this season.
