WYOMING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College JV men's basketball's winning streak came to an end on Wednesday at Grace Christian University, 70-63, in their second meeting of the season.
Grace opened up a 21-9 lead early, but Great Lakes came back, tying the game at 37 by halftime.
The two teams traded the lead back and forth throughout most of the second half, but Grace launched an 8-0 run late, building a 65-57 lead with 3:09 remaining, a deficit GLCC could not overcome.
Javion Williams led Great Lakes with 19 points off the bench and Damari Reid grabbed 11 rebounds. GLCC only shot 25/77 (32.5%) from the floor and 6/33 (18.2%) from three.
Ethan Clasen picked up a double-double, leading Grace with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Elisha Moore also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.
Great Lakes will take on Jackson College on the road on Saturday.
