LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College men's basketball completed its regular season with a resounding 135-76 win over Finlandia on Sunday.
Both teams were committed to playing a high-paced game in the first half and GLCC converted 29 of its 48 field goal attempts (60.4%) on its way to a 77-35 halftime lead.
The game slowed down in the second half to an extent, although Great Lakes still scored an additional 58 points on 44 attempts to pad a massive win.
15 different players scored for Great Lakes, led by Whitney Harris' 24 points. Jahmal Eggleston and Kylan Shipp both scored 18. GLCC
Rae'Quan Funches scored 16 to lead Finlandia. Taaj Thomas added 11 and BJ Williams had 10.
Great Lakes will await their opponent in the regional tournament at Grace Christian University, where they will play in the semifinal as the one-seed on February 25.
