LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College men's basketball got back on a winning track on Monday, dispatching Oak Hills 103-70.
GLCC grabbed an early lead and never looked back, leading 51-30 at the break. The offense kept the pressure on the built the lead in the second half as they coasted to a win.
Kevin Wright Jr. and Kylan Shipp led GLCC with 16 apiece. Jahmal Eggleston scored 15. Whitney Harris' nine rebounds led Great Lakes as they won the rebounding battle 53-38. TQ Belcher scored 11 and grabbed eight rebounds.
Oak Hills' Deontray Anderson led all scorers and rebounders with 21 and 13, picking up the double-double. Colten Jensen scored 14.
Great Lakes will face a regional foe next as they take on Campbellsville-Harrodsburg on Thursday at the Robert E. Picirelli Classic, hosted by Boyce College.
