What Coach Says:
'Playing teams on back to back days has challenges. Our message to our guys today was energy and focus. I thought we had great energy and focus for about 25 minutes today. We were fortunate to get a win, because we really lost focused and discipline in the second half particularly defensively. Our defense is our offense, so when we don't bring energy defensively we know it can sometimes dictate how our offense flows. I also thought we did not value the basketball today. We cannot turn it over 19 times. We have to do a better job taking care of the basketball. Overall though as our lead dwindled I thought our guys responded well with executing down the stretch on the offensive side of the basketball. We definitely will clean things up as we move forward."
What's Next:
MBB will take on Boyce at 2:00p Monday afternoon for another Mideast Region game. This will be the Crusaders first home game since November 17, 2020.
