ADRIAN, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's basketball (0-22, 0-2) concluded a winless regular season on Monday with an 88-42 loss to Siena Heights University (21-7).
Siena Heights roared out of the gate and never looked back, taking a commanding 28-7 lead in the first quarter as Great Lakes shot a mere 2/15 (13.3%) from the field. The rest of the night did not see much improvement for the visitors as Siena Heights continued to roll, adding to their lead and cruising to an 88-42 win.
- Mystic Striker led GLCC with 15 points and nine rebounds.
- Maria Repichowski led SHU with 21 points.
- GLCC finished the night 15/57 (26.3%) from the floor while SHU shot 38/73 (52.1%).
- Siena Heights outrebounded Great Lakes 54-30.
Great Lakes will head to Kimberlin Heights, Tenn. for the 2019 NCCAA II Mideast Regional tournament from Friday, February 21 through Saturday, February 22nd. Their opponent and tip time are TBD.
